A Day in Ubud

The lush city of Ubud is known as the arts and culture hub of Bali. Rising 300 meters above the sea level, the city is characterized by vast green landscapes filled with rice fields and rivers. The combination of natural beauty and cultural offerings continuously inspires artists from Bali and abroad – John Hardy and Antonio Blanco for example. Creativity abounds, from masterpiece paintings to Indonesian performances to stunning craftwork displayed in the city’s multiple museums and galleries.

Host to exciting annual festivals, like Ubud Readers and Writers and Bali Spirit, Ubud is fast becoming the go-to destination for literary and wellness seekers alike.
