The Importance of Innovation in the United States
#Exhibitions

The day of the National Celebration of Workers in the Fields of Science and Technology, the National Museum of China inaugurates an exhibition intended to celebrate the innovative capacity of the United States during the XIX Century. And it does this with a fascinating exhibition of the models of various patents registered in the United States during the decades of the 1800s, on loan from the Hagley Museum of Wilmington, Delaware. The exhibition seeks to underline the important role of those generations of innovators that pushed the confines of understanding and improved the standard of living, right in line with the affirmation of Xi Jinping at the last Boao Forum held in April. With the leaders of Asia before him, the President declared that “reform and innovation are the fundamental driving forces of progress.” In the small scale models of these potential innovations, lies a better future - America represents a country that knew how to offer its faith to so many audacious innovators.
