The Dynamic Works of Joel Shapiro at the Pace Gallery
#Art

A unique installation of unusual sculptures, suspended, vibrantly colourful. Joel Shapiro, the New York artist with over 30 commissions and public sculptures placed in cities all over the world, from Asia to North America and at the centre of over 160 international exhibitions and retrospectives, presents an exhibition of his latest creations at the Pace Gallery. With elements in painted wood, suspended from the ceiling, from the walls, rising up out of the floor, they are the results of recent studies by the American artist on the expressive possibilities of form and colour in space. The path through the works of Joel Shapiro, known for his dynamic work composed of simple forms and interconnected rectangles, conducts the visitor through the halls of the gallery at number 6 Burlington Gardens.
