The Made In Italy Spring-Summer collections are ready to bewitch Milan during the most-awaited week for fashion lovers. Emerging talents, debuts and noteworthy absences, Milan Fashion Week 2018 revs its engines, getting ready to show the public the feminine styles of 2019, but that’s not all. While Gucci is conspicuously absent, on the catwalk in Paris in a rare exception, but returning to the Italian fashion capital next February, opening up the most elegant ball of the year on 19 September are, Byblos, Jil Sander, Moncler and Alberta Ferretti. The following day, it is up to Max Mara, Fendi, Prada, Moschino, Emporio Armani, while Tod’s, Etro, Iceberg, Versace are on just before Salvatore Ferragamo, Les Copains and Missoni. Saturday 22 September, sportswear will be on the catwalk as well with FILA in its first official runway show. The new edition of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018 (GCFA) will take place on Sunday 24 September at Teatro alla Scala - a celebration of efforts made in the field of sustainability within the fashion and luxury industry.
