Italian Renaissance architecture is the protagonist of Building the Picture: Architecture in Italian Renaissance Painting, an exhibition hosted at the National Gallery in London from April 30th to September 21st. The exhibition offers an insight into the architectural buildings of the 14th, 15th and 16th century through works by renowned artists, such as Duccio di Boninsengna and Sandro Botticelli, that constructed illusions of space. The heart of the exhibition is formed by paintings from the National Gallery Collection, also including loans from other collections in the United Kingdom. The works will be on display at the National Gallery, London until 21st September.
