Picasso - Birth of a Genius offers a complete overview of the first three decades of the extraordinary career of Picasso and accompanies the visitor through an in-depth look at this great creative genius. 103 works, all from the Collection of the Musée National Picasso in Paris, make clear to the public just how Picasso revolutionised the history of painting. The exhibition, conceived and organised specifically for this event, includes paintings, sculptures and works on paper, a selection of works created between 1893 and 1921 to narrate the story of the creative formation and evolution of the most audacious and prolific talent of modern art. The extraordinary gathering of drawings allows a personal, almost intimate look at the artist. The itinerary itself guides the visitor through an almost-scared feeling alternation of open and closed spaces.
Chen Shaoxiong, Ren Jian and Wang Jing were the protagonists of indelible moments in the world of Chinese art in the 90s.
