Gaetano Pesce Comes to Beijing
#Exhibitions

After its stop at the Design Society in Shenzhen, the exhibition Nobody’s Perfect also comes to Beijing at the Today Art Museum, presenting the public with over 100 works by the famed Italian architect, designer and artist Gaetano Pesce. The chair Nobody’s Perfect, the lamp Pulcinella, the original wooden model of the easy-chair UP5_6 present, for the first time in China, some of the unforgettable works that demonstrate how Pesce’s work was always focused on presenting design and art in general as a possibility to go beyond the limits of reality, thanks to imagination, innovation and experimentation. An exhibition dedicated to playfulness and versatility, in which poor and popular materials, such as plastic, managed by an alchemist of our times, have unexpected applications and offer an experience that engages all the senses. The exhibition is part of the projects conceived to celebrate 2022, the Year of Italian-Chinese Culture and Tourism.
