At London’s Saatchi Gallery, the London Art Collective is presenting a solo exhibition by A. R. Turner, a young American artist debuting in Europe with twelve new works gathered under the title Energy. Open from 12 to 19 September 2025, the exhibition brings together paintings that originate from Turner’s travels and his exploration of landscape as a way to reflect on time and existence. Turner draws inspiration from places as varied as the Sonoran Desert, the Rocky Mountains and the Acropolis of Athens. These are not simple views, but starting points for an inner journey in which nature becomes a mirror of fragility, strength and transformation. Works such as New Life, El Picacho, Time and Blossom embody this tension between transience and eternity, evoking luminous intensity or fleeting apparitions, like the sudden encounter with a white deer or the light filtering through leaves. The artist identifies four key elements in his work: experience, transformation, nature and speed. Each painting is rooted in lived moments and in conditions of vulnerability or risk that are translated into pictorial energy. Nature, not as a backdrop but as a vital force, becomes the map of a spiritual journey. Turner invites the viewer to slow down and to observe, placing silent contemplation against the frenzy of everyday life. The result is a body of work that combines the personal and the universal, turning painting into a language for exploring the human condition. With this first London presentation, the artist enters the international stage with a vision that seeks to capture what is usually invisible: the vibration of the energy that runs through every form of life.
