The PAC - Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea dedicates an exhibition to the Milanese artist Marcello Maloberti, assembling works from the 1990s, more recent works and unpublished productions. The founding themes of Maloberti’s work concern the elevation of the written word in its poetic dimension, the sacredness of everyday life, attention to the changes and transformations of the urban landscape. Through collages, performances, videos, photographs and with a surrealist language, Maloberti creates interventions where art and life mix. Often he himself is the protagonist of the work and the preferred means to communicate the precariousness of existence. The performances, enriched by a theatrical sensibility, are the common thread of Maloberti’s artistic practice, crossed by constant references to the great Masters of the past.
