And today for the first time in Italy, Rocky, already winner of the Oscar for best film, returns to the ring in a spectacular new musical directed by Luciano Cannito. The music and lyrics are by Tony Award winners and Oscar nominees Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the book by the Tony Award winner Thomas Meehan, adapted from the acclaimed Oscar-nominated screenplay by Sylvester Stallone, who himself is one of the writers of the show.
