Princess Gesine Pogson Doria Pamphilj and her husband, Don Massimiliano Floridi, have decided to open the Secret Apartments of their palace on Via del Corso to the contemporary. Sumptuously decorated with 17th-century paintings, statues from ancient Rome, frescoes and 19th-century furniture, the rooms host eleven works by the artist Chiara Lecca in a journey linked to the four elements of nature (Fire, Air, Earth and Water) and the themes of creation, metamorphosis and transformation. An exhibition that evokes the spirit of the wunderkammer of the rooms through a selection of works that give rise to a geometry of elusive forms and anomalous fossils, contemporary wonders with ancient reverberations. Suggestive.
