Yuri Uenishi, powerful essentiality

Yuri Uenishi is an art director and graphic designer working for one of the most important Japanese advertising agencies whose talent is internationally recognized and has given her numerous awards all over the world. Among her most famous works are for example the poster created for the promotion of the tournament World Table Tennis 2015 or the poster for Visualized Fencing. Yuki Ota Fencing Championships 2014. Both are very clear examples of how Yuri Uenishi manages to visually synthesize the key elements of communication of the two events giving space in parallel to an essential and at the same time extremely beautiful aesthetic. This exhibition will present a large retrospective of Uenishi's works. The first floor will host new works of Printed Matter, large and small, while the basement will host an archive of his works, arranged in the same way in which graphics are affixed and positioned in everyday life, such as posters that are affixed to walls and pillars around the city or books arranged on shelves and racks.
