Adventure, Wild Animals and Fun - A Tour at the Bali Safari Park
#BvlgariStories

Forty hectares of uncontaminated forest in Gianyar, host the Bali Safari and Marine Park, one of the most enjoyable, educational and thrilling attractions on the entire island. More than a mere safari, it is an all-out adventure marked by a number of stimulating experiences - you can journey through India and Africa, sitting in a tram or on board a 4x4 vehicle, surrounded by splendid specimens of white tigers and lions, scramble onto the backs of enormous elephants, near zebras, gnus and rhinoceros, watch the Tiger Show, do a night safari and feed crocodiles, giraffes, piranhas and kindly meerkats with your own hands. There are over 120 species that are cared for and coddled, respecting the highest standards regarding their well-being, in this wondrous natural reserve for the protection of wildlife, one of the most important in all of Indonesia. The Komodo dragon, the Balinese starling and proboscis monkeys, but also the white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum), orangutan and the pig-nosed turtle (Carettochelys insculpta) are among the species threatened with extinction that are protected at Bali Safari in carrying out its mission as an “institution for the protection of animals”. For the curious, it is possible to observe the production of “Poo Paper”, recycled paper obtained from elephant excrement, as carried out by experts of this particular trade. Within the park, there is also a museum dedicated to these millennial animals and the Hindu temple Pura Safari. For the children, there is the Fun Zone with rides and roller-coasters and the Water Play Zone with thrilling water attractions. Shows, conferences and exhibitions are held at the park’s auditorium. Not to be missed - breakfast with the King of the Forest, immersed in the African environments of the famed Tsavo Lion Restaurant.
