For twenty years the Guardian Fine Art Asia (GFAA) has been one of the most important events in China for collectors and art lovers, capable of attracting the most prestigious national and international art institutions, numerous antique dealers and art galleries, leading artists and designers from Asia and the West. The exhibitions cover a wide range of categories: from classic antiques, to works of art and design, to decorative arts artefacts and jewellery. The new layout of the exhibition spaces was designed to create a refined and efficient, thematic and immersive multi-level place, designed to provide a great variety of exhibition services. Like every year, a rich calendar of events is planned with thematic workshops, symposia, guided tours for collectors and the general public of enthusiasts.
On display are 74 series of works created by Qi Baishi. Among these, a 25-page album entitled Flower Drawings found in the Academy's archives, after having been buried in dust for decades, will be shown for the first time.
