Pianist and composer, Ludovico Einaudi was born in Turin where his musical training began and then continued in Milan, first at the Conservatory and then as assistant to Luciano Berio. Einaudi has composed for ballet, cinema and theater and has performed on prestigious stages such as the Sidney Opera House, the Verona Arena and the Royal Albert Hall. His first solo album, Le Onde, dates back to 1996 and, less than ten years later, the albums Una Mattina (2004) and Divenire (2006) occupy the top of the classical and pop music charts. Many soundtracks including Light of My Eyes, Under a False Name and the remake of Doctor Zhivago, while some compositions from Seven Days Walking (2019) appear in award-winning films such as Nomadland and The Father. The musical production for the big and small screen is collected in the double album Cinema (2021). In 2022 the new piano solo album, Underwater, was released, born in the suspended time of the lockdown "with the world outside, quiet and silent." After the great success achieved at the Dubai Opera in 2023, Ludovico Einaudi arrives in Abu Dhabi for the first time on 19 January 2025 for a highly anticipated concert at the Etihad Arena.
