An event not to miss - the Dubai Design Week is the biggest design fair in the Middle East at the regional and international level. The seventh edition offers a much more ample program than last year - events, exhibitions, installations, contests, conferences and workshops, all being held in the Dubai Design District (d3), partner of the fair, as well as various locations throughout the city. One of the central sections of the week is Downtown Design, which returns this year to its original home on the d3 Waterfront, along with Downtown Editions, a glimpse at limited edition and bespoke design. The section Global Grad Show will present, in a virtual exhibition promoted by a global media campaign, the top 100 projects developed by university students around the world. Meanwhile, the MENA Grad Show, with a live exhibition, celebrates the top 50 projects from Middle Eastern and North African universities. Heart of the fair will be the winning project of the section entitled Abwab, selected by a commission of experts, after having invited designers, creative studios and architects from the region to present their proposals for an architectural pavilion focused, this year, on the theme of our relationship with nature.
