Milan warms its engines for Design Week, the lively itinerant fair which, once again this year, accompanies the Salone del Mobile, Italy’s largest fair dedicated to furnishings. Inventing the future is the challenge laid down by the 2023 Edition which revolves around themes such as sustainable design, the circular economy, the innovation of materials, urban regeneration and artificial intelligence. Exhibitions and installations transform the urban fabric into a so-called Laboratorio Futuro - this is the title of the upcoming Fuorisalone - a laboratory of the future which seeks to transform error into opportunity, criticism into an occasion for creative growth through comparison and sharing.
