Danish artist Michael Elmgreen and Norwegian artist Ingar Dragset are an established artistic duo who have been working together since 1995. Known for their witty and subversively humorous artworks, the contemporary art scene’s leading provocateurs Elmgreen & Dragset always explore relevant cultural themes. The presentation they have created especially for the Musée d’Orsay will immerse the visitor in an upside-down museum. The artists have conceived a radical architectural intervention entitled L’Addition, which is unlike anything the museum has ever shown.
