Artists United by Design
#Art

A rich territory, largely unexplored - drawing unites the thoughts of artists, beyond geographical confines and poetics, it is capable of creating a bridge between photographers, painters, sculptors and artists using the most varied of expressive means. In its Sixth Edition, The Drawing Hand - a format conceived by the gallery - follows through with the formula it has used in previous editions - involve artists from various geographic and artistic backgrounds, each of which has, in turn, invited another artist. The result is a creative universe that comes to life within the walls of the gallery of Magda Danysz - that are covered by ever-multiplying pieces that make up a dynamic and enthralling expositive project. Visitors are immersed in the graphic works of photographers Huang Xiaoliang and Georges Rousse, the works of Palestinian sculptor Abdul Rahman Katanani and Chinese artist Song Xi. A pictorial language as varied as the myriad interpretations of the idea of “drawing”. Ink and writing on paper, cutting and folding and so on - all up to the total freedom of interpretation of the artists.
