The World We Live in According to Felipe Pantone

The World We Live in According to Felipe Pantone
#Exhibitions

Dynamic, potent, explosive, the style of Pantone is along the lines of Kinetic art and the abstract optical art of Vasarely, Julio Le Parc and Jesús-Rafael Soto, but with an original point of view, the sensibility and wonder of a child. Felipe Pantone, through the conventional formulas of street art, affirms himself as a well-rounded artist with his large works where geometric forms mix with iridescent, luminous and metallic colours, often in contrast with blacks and whites which reinforce the psychedelic effects of his compositions. The artist’s work is a reflection on contemporary society and new technology, which has quickly become the centre of our daily lives. Playing with visual superimpositions, flows and interruptions that occur suddenly in the rhythm of his compositions, Pantone stages a metaphor of the frenetic rush of visual stimuli that we are subject to every day. At the same time, he offers the public a vision of the world dominated by a fluid circulation, a vivacious traffic of information and cultural exchange. The new works, specifically created for the exhibition at the Danysz Gallery, meld with the space, integrate perfectly with the environment, they recreate it to offer visitors a full-immersion experience within his works.
