Love is... Yayoi Kusama

Love is... Yayoi Kusama
#Art

Yayoi Kusama is universally recognized as one of the world's most important living artists. Her works stand out as among the most appreciated masterpieces in the art market by collectors and curators of museums and institutions and her art has significantly influenced the work of many artists and creatives, above all certainly that of the “father of Pop Art” Andy Warhol. With this exhibition at Ota Fine Arts in Tokyo (which will then continue with other stops in Shanghai and Singapore) Yayoi Kusama presents a new body of work under the evocative title Every Day I Pray for Love. The works on display are characterized by the repetition of typical motifs such as the net, the dots and the profile, while the "text" is a feature that updates the expressive language proposed by Kusama.
