Bali always offers stunning adventures, also thanks to its landscape and the possibilities available for exploring it. Certainly, one of the most exciting ways to discover the luxurious island’s hidden wonders is rafting. The Ayung is one of the rivers offering the greatest number of rafting excursions on the island. Some companies even offer numerous depatures daily, generally two in the morning and another around lunchtime. The river has rapids ranging from levels II - III, suitable for beginners and children with itineraries which wind along rice paddies, amidst magnificent water falls, stone sculptures and the extraordinary rainforest. In an hour-and-a-half, the journey stretches 9 kilometres. However, to reach the point of departure and return at the voyage’s end, there are long and steep stairways, often wet, so hiking or sports shoes are highly recommended.
