The Great Wall is one of the wonders of the world, each section its own expression of beauty, architectural magnificence and Chinese perseverance. This experience invites guests to discover the Jiuyanlou stretch of the wall with the family of William Lindesay, a devoted British guardian of the Great Wall. Lindesay has been awarded China’s Friendship Medal and the UK’s OBE for his decades of dedication to preserving the structure and sharing its treasures with the world.
