Liao Fei explores existence and uncertainty through artistic creation, seeking to capture the essence of things. His works investigate the nature of being with a rational approach, transforming abstract concepts and mathematical logic into sensory experiences. His visual research, essential and structured, reflects the limits between mathematics, logic and abstraction. The exhibition scheduled at the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art is his largest institutional presentation and includes key series such as One Way Sculpture (2017) and Permutation Generation (2018). Liao Fei will redefine the exhibition space to enhance his works. The event is curated by Neil Zhang.
