The UAE's annual green gathering Down to Earth returns for its fifth edition with an expanded program - packed with thematic activities for all ages - taking place over the last weekend of November at the Jameel Arts Center and Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park. The festival is free and open to all and features a weekend full of botanical-themed activities, sustainable and eco-conscious living with workshops, tours, talks and demonstrations, as well as an interactive art installation, experiential performances and film screenings. and a series of exhibitions. The event is completed by the Green Bazaar which offers a wide range of plants and flora, ecological and sustainable gifts, vintage fashion and products from local companies, as well as an exclusive collection of sustainability-themed books and designer gifts from the Art Jameel Shop.
