It is the story of a deep friendship that linked the artist Mario Schifano to the collector and poet Gianni Malabarba. It is a story that reviews 73 completely unpublished works that today belong to the Malabarba family. Two different people, two opposite but perhaps complementary characters, Schifano and Malabarba frequented each other intensely in the 1970s. In that period Malabarba purchased some of the artist's most significant works. It was a relationship that went beyond collecting, which over time had transformed into a true collaboration. The poet Malabarba also tried to implement a synthesis of the arts between painting and poetry. The artist Schifano extrapolated from Malabarba's poetry some of his compositions along the lines of the TV Landscapes. An exhibition that explores the intimacy between two persons that goes well beyond the patron-artist relationship.
