Swing with Sting. At the Blue Note for an Amazing Evening

His voice automatically reminds us of the legendary radio program Monte Carlo Nights, where Nick The Nightfly played the best music had to offer for around 30 years. Now, the speaker and DJ of Scottish origins is also a singer, composer and guitarist, with collaborations with artists such as Quincy Jones, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Paolo Fresu, Sarah Jane Morris, The Yellow Jackets, Patti Austin, Donald Harrison and Dominic Austin. The Blue Note is a second home for Nick - he has been the artistic director of the prestigious Milan jazz club since 2003, it is here where he conducted the transmission that brought him a Cuffie d’Oro Prize, the equivalent of an Oscar for Italian radio. But from November 19 - 21, the volcanic DJ hits the stage for six concerts along with the Nick The Nightfly Orchestra. Thanks to numerous requests and prior sold-out performances, Nick brings his project dedicated to transforming the hits of Sting into swing numbers back to the Blue Note. It promises to be quite the party with surprises and guests to celebrate the release of the new album Swing with Sting Live al Blue Note Milano, recorded during the vibrant shows last season.
