The Art of Nanda Vigo at the Palazzo Reale
#Exhibitions

An itinerary comprised of transparencies, light and immateriality revolves around a fascinating journey through time. This exhibition transmits the quintessence of Nanda Vigo’s ideas about art - an existential situation that allows us to have transcendental experiences, surpassing quotidian materiality in order to physically capture - in as much as possible - a higher reality through contemplation, dematerialisation, the union with “everything”. For the first anthological exhibition dedicated, by an Italian institution, to the Milanese designer, the Palazzo Reale has created a descriptive itinerary of the work of this Milanese architect that has influenced the Italian and European art scene over the last fifty years. Through the display of around eighty works - including projects, sculptures and installations - Nanda Vigo. Light Project recounts the remarkable journey of exploration carried out by this remarkable personage on the European scene, from her beginnings, at the end of the 1950s, up to her most recent experiences.
