It’s like entering into the forms and colours of the paintings of Van Gogh, immersing yourself in a fusion of light, movement and sound, in an experience that engages all the senses and passes through the artistic evolution of the great Dutch painter through masterpieces like The Potato Eaters (1885), Sunflowers (1888), Starry Night (1889) and Bedroom at Arles (1889). Offered by InfinityArt, pioneer of digital art in the region, the exhibition on Van Gogh is hosted until April 30th in the spaces of Infinity des Lumières, inaugurated in 2021 inside the Dubai Mall. The result of the collaboration between InfinityArt and the French Culturespaces, Infinity des Lumières is the largest digital art centre in the Middle East. Thanks to 130 projectors and 58 loudspeakers, it presents extraordinary multi-sensorial exhibitions which blend great art with music and technology. The vastness of the spaces, over 2700 square metres, allows several exhibitions to be presented simultaneously. In fact, besides the exhibition of Van Gogh, there is also Dreamed Japan, a dreamlike itinerary through the waves and portraits of Hokusai and other works of the Japanese art ukiyo-e of the 19th Century; Verse, the exhibition created specifically for the immersive art spaces by Thomas Vanz, a hypnotic and metaphysical journey through the harmony of the cosmos, accompanied by an orchestral piece composed with Jonathan Fitas. And, finally, Cosmos, visible until September 2022 during evening hours, looking at the desire of humanity to understand and explore the universe. An exhibition born to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the French Space Agency (CNES) and an homage to the recent successes achieved by the United Arab Emirates in outer space.
