In 1925, Paris was the undisputed capital of taste and fashion. The Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, which took place that very year, launched the new style called “Style 1925”, but would later go down in history as Art Deco. 100 years after that exhibition that fully expressed the modernity of the past century, Milan celebrates with an exhibition that offers an extraordinary selection of Italian and European Art Deco artefacts. The curators' project aims to convey the climate and atmosphere of a unique and unrepeatable era through the most diverse contributions: advertising posters, original photographs and film clips. Undoubtedly, the most fascinating part of the exhibition remains the multitude of objects including porcelain, fabrics, furniture and jewellery, as well as, of course, the works of art from that period including paintings, sculptures and drawings.
