Who doesn’t remember the celebrated Do not Cry For Me Argentina sung by Evita from the balcony of Casa Rosada, the day of the proclamation of the election of her husband Juan Domingo Perón to the office of President? Or Oh What A Circus, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, and You Must Love Me, an Oscar winner. The musical written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, freely inspired by the life of Evita Perón, comes to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre where it will be on stage until 21 September.
