Under the Sky of Nut. The Egyptian Goddess Revealed at the Civico Museo Archeologico
#Exhibitions

A total voyage in the sphere of the divine of ancient Egypt awaits visitors to the Civico Museo Archeologico, among sculptures of bronze and stone, mummies, sarcophaguses and votive reliefs that, from the collection of the Milanese museum, transport guests into the magic of this extraordinary universe. An itinerary in four phases reveals the origins of the Gods and the Cosmos. It all starts with Nun, the primordial entity who precedes creation, a liquid chaos, shapeless, surrounding the created world, constantly threatening its survival. The divinities of Egypts rich pantheon, in their iconic forms, their relations with humans and the voyage in the afterlife comprise a stunning itinerary with the through-line of the unseen and elusive nature of the Gods, whose true form - as the texts says - unknown to humans, would be revealed to the dead, luminous spirits (Akhu) and themselves Gods (Netjeru).
