Suda Yoshihiro is a self-taught sculptor who has dedicated his life to the study of wood and to honing his skills in carving this extraordinarily malleable and fragile plastic material. Among his best-known works are sculptures of flowers, plants and various types of flora, made with such refined mastery that they appear almost real. The exhibition, conceived in function of the place that hosts it and Suda's works lead us into a unique world in which the pieces, installed in an unexpected place, are integrated with the space. A singular union, that between Suda Yoshihiro and the architecture of Shirai Seiichi, the designer of the museum, which will allow visitors to discover one of the most talented Japanese wood sculptors in an unrepeatable context.
