It starts from ancient history and ends with a reflection on capitalism in the Anthropocene era. The journey begins with a question: what will happen to man on Earth? Observing the effects of the current ecological crisis and the loss of biodiversity that has drastically changed the living conditions of many species, it is difficult to imagine that human beings are exempt from the danger of extinction. X Virtual Gathering: Honey is an interdisciplinary research project that commissions visual artists and music producers to explore organisms, ecosystems, food chains, cultural heritage, organization and sharing. Everything revolves around honey: Honey is a fluid and generative virtual space in which "you" change the honey and the honey changes "you". Symbolically, the fruit of the bees' labor is sacred: it flows from the natural world with a golden glow, floods human minds and extends into eternity. One of the oldest substances used by humans since the Stone Age, it has countless properties: it is a natural sweetener, an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial agent, which reflects prosperity and longevity, embodying humanity's quest to understand the cosmos and technology. An exhibition that aims to be an exploration of primordial ecological futures and not centered on the logic of the West.
