The new edition of the Rome Film Fest kicks off on October 16th, the event that brings great cinema and big screen stars from all over the world to the capital. Born on the model of the Toronto Film Festival, the Roman event also sees the public as the absolute protagonist, which decrees at its sole discretion the title of winner of each section in which the event is organised. In the last edition, which saw over 90 thousand spectators participate in the screenings of more than 500 films, the Roman festival crowned the Italian actress and director Paola Cortellesi who won two prizes - one from the public and one from the critics - with her film C'è ancora domani, anticipating the extraordinary success that last season saw the Italian title surpass blockbusters such as Barbie and Oppenheimer with over 36 million euros at the box office.
