Chen Han’s research resembles that of an archaeologist. The excavation work leads him to search through his art for the emotional fossils that lie beneath the surface of the soul. Chen Han carries out his investigation on two different levels. Music is a source of inspiration for the simple fact of being a naturally harmonious spiritual symphony, a metaphor for idealized emotions, capable of showing the most crystalline state of spiritual communion between people. Human relationships, on the other hand, are bearers of the tension that lies beneath the calm surface of exchanges.
