The Natural Thermal Springs of Banjar - a Leap into Well-Being

The Natural Thermal Springs of Banjar - a Leap into Well-Being
#BulgariStories

Not just endless ocean beaches and matchless pools from which to admire stunning sunsets - there’s another way to dip deep and rediscover your well-being in Bali. The hot volcanic thermal springs found across the island, rising out of the ground to form natural baths have exceptional anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial powers. Tiny local artisan booths flank the way to the entrance gate of the Banjar Hot Springs (Air Panas Banjar), secular springs in the hills of northern Bali in the Regency of Singaraja, a short distance from the Buddhist monastery of Brahmavihara Arama. The complex, positioned on various levels, was set up over time to welcome local and international guests seeking relaxation at the start or end of a day immersed in the enchanted atmosphere of the Balinese jungle. The thermal complex includes three pools of various sizes, surrounded by a tropical garden and naga sculptures of dragon heads sculpted from the stones rising up from the beneficial and curative waters. In the more spacious of these areas, it is possible to enjoy traditional Balinese dishes at the restaurant Komala Tirta.
