The contemporary art fair World Art Dubai reaches its Sixth Edition this year. From October 8 to 10 in the spaces of the World Trade Centre, gallery owners and artists from all over the world will be on hand with over 3000 works on display. There are a wide-range of artists, varying techniques and expressive mediums in this eclectic gathering founded on a dialogue with a passionate public, increasingly numerous in the Middle East. And here, it is possible to buy works of contemporary art at affordable prices as well. World Art Dubai, in fact, doesn’t only intend to encourage and sustain artistic talent but also promote the world of collecting at every level and respond to the growing request for art in the region. There are three curators for World Art Dubai 2020, three women who have infused this edition with their very own vision and style - artist and art teacher Batool Jafri, artist and curator Samar Kamel and artist Petra Kaltenbach. And this year, just like past editions, there will also be awards presented to both galleries and artists.
Sharjah Art Museum hosts an exhibition dedicated to the Lebanese artist.
