The exhibition is part of a larger cycle of events dedicated to ink painting and held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the National Art Museum of China. Until June 10th, visitors can admire over 100 works of the famous Xin'an School from the main art and culture museums of Anhui. This is a wide-ranging exhibition that intends to comprehensively show the artistic style of the Xin'an School in various periods, highlighting the charm of Huizhou culture. The Xin'an School of Painting is in fact rooted in the cultural territory of Huizhou. Among the main exponents of the School there are famous artists such as Cha Shibiao, Sun Yi and Wang Zhirui who were born and worked in the Province of Anhui in the 17th century (Qing Dynasty) and who, quite far from the traditional centers of Chinese painting, developed a rather unusual.
