Chinese fine-dining restaurant in the historic Shanghai Chamber of Commerce

Bao Li Xuan, Chinese Fine-Dining Restaurant

Located on the third floor of the historic Chamber of Commerce Shanghai that is integrated into The Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai, Chinese fine-dining restaurant Bao Li Xuan serves Cantonese haute cuisine along with signature dishes from Shanghai and Hangzhou.

Beneath restored coffered ceilings, elegant design pays homage to Shanghai culture with walls of turquoise raw silk wallpaper, black lacquer panels and art deco patterned carpets. Custom-made Italian chairs by Maxalto and artistic lighting by Flos give the room a contemporary feel, while six private dining rooms are each decorated in their own colour of silk wallpaper—a tradition native to China—in hues inspired by Bvlgari gemstones and adorned with hand-drawn jewellery sketches from the Bvlgari archives.

A wine cellar houses a vast selection of international bottles, as well as variety of Chinese baijiu, and the resident sommelier is on hand to guide guests in their choice.
