Hervé Di Rosa, explorer of modest art

Hervé Di Rosa, explorer of modest art
#Exhibitions

Hervé Di Rosa is an eclectic French artist, heir to a history that goes from Dada, to CoBrA, to Punk. His practice has never stopped questioning the absolutism of "high" art. His work is often fun and cheeky and demonstrates his passion for Kitsch or what he calls "Art Modeste". And it is precisely from these modest arts - of which Di Rosa is a true collector - that this Parisian exhibition was born. An exhibition that focuses on around thirty works that offer an eloquent panorama of his vision of the world. The relationship between his work and the collection - between the images that the artist creates and those that the collector passionately combines - constitutes one of the most fascinating aspects of the universe described in this exhibition.
