Zeinab Saleh's perception of time

Zeinab Saleh's perception of time
#Exhibitions

Born in 1996 in Kenya, Zeinab Saleh is an English artist who has lived and worked in London for many years. In her paintings and drawings she explores themes of personal memory, tenderness and intimacy with great parsimony of means. Her works invite the audience to calm and contemplation. Her artistic practice uses a wide variety of techniques, acrylic, charcoal and chalk spread across the canvas, revealing depths of texture, shade and colour. For her Art Now exhibition at the Tate in London, Zeinab Saleh presents a new series of paintings and drawings, works that are inspired by everyday experiences, personal encounters and memories without being fixed in any specific time or narrative.
