Laure Prouvost brings her intimate language and her humorous streak to Shanghai. The exhibition at the Lisson Gallery is in truth the expansion of an exhibition project that took off at the Nasjonalmuseet in Norway in 2022, the exhibition was then transferred the following year with additions and revisitations to the Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University in the United States and destined for the De Pont Museum in the Netherlands. There are new works by the French artist to discover including a series of playful paintings and a colorful tapestry from the We Will Keep You Cool series, along with extraordinary creatures made from Murano glass, a cinematic installation and an experience of virtual reality hidden inside a hanging basket.
