Xue Mu, a visual artist based between Amsterdam and Berlin, turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. Through drawings, photographs, and installations, she explores the unseen in everyday life, transforming it into “Super Ghosts”: poetic, powerful presences that stand in contrast to traditional superheroes. Her delicate yet intense lines map inner landscapes filled with memory, the unconscious, and collective experience. The series The Black Diamond represents the peak of her journey: pure abstraction that doesn’t represent but is - inviting viewers into a visual immersion where space and perception blur. It’s not illusion, but revelation. Trained between China and the Netherlands, Mu blends formal rigor with sociological insight, making vulnerability a new aesthetic paradigm. Each work is an invitation to look deeper, where fragility becomes strength and the invisible becomes a lived experience.
