Gallery Weekend Beijing opens with the title Drifting

Ready, set, and go! Countdown to the 8th edition of Gallery Weekend Beijing, a platform that connects a multitude of cultural cells active in the 798 Art District and in the Caochangdi Art District and Shunyi Art neighborhoods. Other places such as the Agricultural Exhibition Hall and the CBD Art District will have the task of highlighting the charm of Beijing as a capital of contemporary art. Over 30 national and international galleries and non-profit organizations have joined the event this year. The title of the 2024 edition is Drifting. In the dynamic balance between drifting and remaining, Chinese artistic energy represented by diverse experiences is called to return to the homeland, while other international artistic projects of exceptional relevance are invited to Beijing.
