China and Switzerland Meet in Comics

Seventy-five years of diplomatic relations between China and Switzerland become the starting point for a story that opens… on a page. The art of comics has been chosen as the thread to celebrate this anniversary with an exhibition featuring nearly 200 works by 20 artists from the Fumetto Festival. The works on display address themes that belong to everyone: courage, identity, memory, dreams, and our relationship with society. Far from being a language reserved only for the young, comics emerge here as an art form capable of speaking to anyone sensitive to images and ideas. Rooted in Swiss culture yet open to dialogue with Chinese audiences, the works intertwine worlds and visions, creating a symbolic bridge between two traditions. The title Once Upon a Page evokes the beginning of a fairytale, but here it becomes a promise of a new chapter in the cultural exchange between the two countries.
