In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Bvlgari Resort Bali, twenty Balinese children were invited to reinterpret the centuries-old tradition of Kamasan painting in a project dedicated to the local community. Developed in collaboration with Save the Children Indonesia and with the support of Bank BRI, the initiative gave each young participant the opportunity to translate emotions, imagination and personal stories into art.
The works were unveiled at The Bvlgari Chapel on September 23, 2026, marking the exact date of the Resort’s 20th Anniversary. Each painting was made available for adoption, with all proceeds donated to Save the Children Indonesia.
Recent surveys indicate that one in three Indonesian adolescents experienced a mental health problem in the past year, while only a small proportion sought support. For younger children, finding the words to communicate emotions can be even more difficult.
Art can offer a language before words arrive. At the heart of the programme was a simple idea: creating a space where children could recognise emotions, express them freely and give them tangible form through colour and painting.
The initiative brought together Bvlgari Resort Bali, Save the Children Indonesia and Bank BRI in support of local families, connecting Balinese cultural heritage and creativity with a commitment to the community.
