It is an unpublished Picasso that is told in the exhibition at Palazzo Reale. The exhibition, based on years of new research, opens up new scenarios and perspectives from which to look at the art of the twentieth century genius. The key to understanding reflects a very current theme, which is that of feeling like a foreigner everywhere. A feeling that is widespread today, but which - apparently - was also common a century ago along the Seine. Thus according to the new narrative, Picasso also suffered from not feeling at home even in the Paris of the beginning of the century which went down in history as a cosmopolitan city, welcoming towards foreign artists. Indeed, it was precisely the problems of immigration and nationalism that triggered the need to pursue aesthetic and political research that forged the identity of Picasso who, apparently, lived in the uncomfortable position of eternal foreigner throughout his life .
