بدأ التاي تشي، وهو أحد الممارسات الصينية القديمة المتفرعة عن فنون القتال، خلال عهد أسرة يوان قبل نحو سبعة قرون. وتغمر ورشة العمل التي تستغرق ساعة ونصف، المعروفة بفوائدها الصحية وأهميتها الثقافية، الضيوف في هذه الممارسة، بمنحهم أزياء تقليدية لارتدائها أثناء تعلمهم حركات التاي تشي الأساسية والمتقدمة.
