Danielle Orchard, intimate glimpses

Danielle Orchard, intimate glimpses
#Art

Danielle Orchard has been tracking the work of some of the great Masters of the Twentieth Century. Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse seem to have passed the baton of their pictorial research to the American artist. Female nudes represent the subject congenial to Danielle Orchard's sensitivity. The painter portrays the figures in an analytical and multi-perspective cubist style or sketches them with solid outlines and saturated colors. While she approaches the representation floor by floor using a thick mixture of color, Orchard explores female bodily representation as a subject of study by going deeper and infusing her own experiences as a female artist.
